“The training, advice, and resources, provided by Stephanie, are purposeful and highly effective for the teaching of literacy in the classroom.  Using the reading behaviour resources and a wide range of high quality picture books, our reading results have improved year on year.  A range of progressive activities for word, sentence, and text level teaching has raised writing levels across the school.  Our children are far more
engaged and proud of their work.  I have no hesitation in recommending Stephanie – her knowledge, skills, and enthusiasm for literacy are invaluable for raising standards.”

“Stephanie recently provided non-fiction text type training for teachers and teaching assistants at Birchgrove Primary. The session was highly engaging and motivating. Everyone, from experienced to recently qualified teachers, left the session with a range of teaching resources and practical ideas to use in the classroom. We have already seen a demonstrable impact on standards of pupils’ writing as a direct result of
Stephanie’s training. Stephanie has a wealth of literacy knowledge and experience in delivering high quality training and support for schools. I thoroughly recommend her training.”

“Reading journey- This is the best training we have accessed in a while. It was rooted in pedagogy and made us challenge our teaching of reading. We were given a range of practical activities with quality resources that could easily be adaptable for different ages or contexts. The LNF is considered as well as using a cross curricular approach to develop pupils’ reading skills. Teachers and Teaching Assistants were inspired to immediately review planning and use the methodologies. We have a consistent language regarding teaching reading, across the school. The strategies are now embedded in daily practice and we can evidence the impact on raising standards. Can’t wait to have the writing training next!”
